Side By Side: A Tribute to Great Singers Singing Together
When Paula Lammers and Reeves Cary step onto a stage together, special things happen. These two performers share a love for singing that radiates out to their audience and draws them into a magical journey through the songs that they sing. On Sunday afternoon, October 5th, Paula Lammers and Reeves Cary will perform their highly acclaimed duet concert, Side By Side at the Lakeville Area Arts Center. The show will feature music from the Swing era and beyond, highlighting the collaborative work of great singers like Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong, Steve Lawrence & Eydie Gorme, Ray Charles & Betty Carter, Sarah Vaughan & Billy Eckstine and more.
Lammers and Cary met while working together singing 1940’s hits on the Minnesota Zephyr dinner train. They started performing as a duo, and they have consistently thrilled audiences with their engaging stage shows and appealing voices.
